When a storm sent Alan Rabinowitz’s plane crashing into the jungle, the world’s foremost jaguar protector knew that wasn’t enough to stop him. Now, as he faces a life and death struggle with cancer, he explains his efforts to create the world’s greatest jaguar corridor before it’s too late.

★Each year 400.000 people from Africa, Asia and Middle East, try to enter Europe. They flee from war, persecution and poverty. Since the ways by land have been interrupted, they board overloaded vessels and face a dangerous and often deadly voyage across the Mediterranean.
𝐈𝐑𝐑𝐄𝐆𝐔𝐋𝐀𝐑𝐒 is a documentary by Fabio Palmiere that traces the first hand immigration experience os a 20 year old Ghanaian refuge named Cyrille Kabore. The short film is set within a mannequin factory, which provides all of the visuals seen in the condensed documentay. kabore narrates his journey across land and sea, including harrowing details such as clinging to the bottom of a highway-bound truck, and being held out of the water by his older sister after falling out of a capsized boat........................★The story is a deeply personal tale, however its greater message is one that can be compared to the hundreds of thousands of refuges who painstakingly flee unsafe and oppressive forces.

Our oceans are under dire threat. Overfishing, pollution and climate change are decimating the Earth’s most precious natural resource. And if the oceans perish, so do we. To add to this quagmire, the open ocean is a lawless place. Under the U.N. World Charter for Nature, it isn’t up to one country or entity to protect our seas, it’s everyone’s responsibility. That’s where Sea Shepherd comes in. This diverse crew of volunteers from around the world literally put their lives on the line to enforce international conservation law against the illegal fishing industry. In doing so, they hope to help save life as we know it..............⚫WHALE WARS⚫
The group currently operates nine vessels. Sea Shepherd uses direct action tactics and information campaigns to protect marine life and inform the public of their plight. The organization was founded in 1977 under the name Earth Force Society by Paul Watson, a former member of Greenpeace.

⚫Vigan is the most intact example in Asia of a planned Spanish colonial town, established in the 16th century. Its architecture reflects the coming together of cultural elements from elsewhere in the Philippines and from China with those of Europe and Mexico to create a unique culture and townscape without parallels anywhere in East and South-East Asia. An important trading post before the colonial era.
⚫The traditional Hispanic checkerboard street plan opens up into two adjacent plazas. The streets are off limits to commuters so instead of cars, you will find carriages (locally known as kalesa).Vigan represents a unique fusion of Asian building design and construction with European colonial architecture and planning.
⚫At the start of World War II, Vigan was one of the first places in the Philippines invaded by Japan on 10 December 1941. In 1945, combined U.S. and Canadian and Philippine Commonwealth ground troops, aided by Ilocano resistance fighters, defeated the Japanese Imperial forces and liberated Vigan.

⚫The Viva Vigan Festival of Arts is celebrated during the first week of the month of May, It was started in 1993.Viva Vigan’s week-long festivities have both religious and secular importance. It starts on the 1st of May, when the whole country celebrates Labor Day and Vigan remembers its own Isabelo de los Reyes, who founded the country’s first federation of labor. The catholic faithful also remembers on this day St. Joseph, patron saint of workers. The first-day commemoration is followed by the Binatbatan Festival celebrations, which includes a street dancing competition. Binatbatan dancing is connected to Vigan’s abel Iloco craft. The dance depicts how cotton pods are beaten with bamboo sticks to release the cotton fluff called batbat from its seed. Was started to showcase this traditional weaving craft that is said to predate the arrival of the Spaniards.
