I couldn't get through this on Netflix. The guy is an unapologetic disgusting creep. What's worse is he found wives who knew he did this and were ok with it. I turned it off after a half hour.

absolutely fascinating. i honestly don't find him that creepy. i guess if he was younger and doing this, which obviously he was, i might feel differently. voyeurism to me just isn't creepy :/

So he thought that by telling his story that would redeem him and make him feel all better, lol, fat chance, that is if he even told the truth. And the author Gay Talese for his lack of morals and sense of reponsibility, he chose to follow the money instead of reporting what he knew. They are both scum, and don't get me started and those sick, empty headed women he married. Wow I can't believe some people. Interesting one time doc. 3/5

The main characters here enter into a symbiotic relationship full well knowing they are exploiting each other for gain in telling this story. The story falls apart in the 3rd act and becomes stupid when the voyeur starts acting like a paranoid spoiled brat/moron. At this point the viewer must decide whether or not this trainwreck is still worth watching, i bailed.

I thought this was an eye-opening documentary. You are never really alone and as private as you might think. Very creepy! And it enraged me to know that both of his wives and Gay Talese knew what he was doing and aided in his behavior! Grrrrr!

This documentary is astonishing, it tells the story of a man writing a story about a guy that is pretty much overly curious and he ends up putting his career on the line which doesn't pay off well reputation wise.

Too bad, Steven Spielberg withdrew from this project after he found out this documentary did it first hand, otherwise this will be more entertaining in a feature film rather than a docu.
